
On July 11th, 2019, Flinders University Australia visited Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta for proposing a partnership and collaborative works in the future. During the executive meeting, Rector ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs), Dr. Suastiwi, M.Des (Dean of Visual Art Faculty), Siswadi, MSn (Dean of Performing Arts Faculty), Marsudi, S.Kar., M.Hum (Dean of Recording Media Faculty), Bambang Supinardi, SIP (Bureau of Education and Cooperation), Silvia A Purba, MSn ( Unit of International Affairs) were welcoming delegations from Flinders University who was represented by Professor Vanessa Lemm (Vice President and Executive Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences), Dr. Priyambudi Sulistiyanto, (Senior Lecturer, College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences), and Mr David Nettlefold (Manager, International Recruitment and Engagement, College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences). Moreover, in the executive meeting, Professor Vanessa Lemm presented her programs which are similar to some programs in ISI Yogyakarta. This meeting is important to strengthen the relationship for both sides which has already been started since 2018. Flinders University and ISI Yogyakarta made collaborative works of students and lecturers by making a joint-workshop. This collaborative works will be continued in 2019, as a matter of fact, there was also a workshop in the Faculty of Performing Arts when the meeting was held. Last year, two students of ISI Yogyakarta were invited to Flinders University for doing the short training program, and this year three students will be participating in the same program at Flinders University. The students are RizkaYuanaPutri (Dance Department), MillahHasanatun and Muhammad FansyurMaulana (both are from Theatre Department)
